The Summer Paralegal Program is designed to provide interns with the opportunity to observe the atmosphere and inner workings of a large law firm and to gain insight as to what it is like to work as an attorney in a law firm setting. Through bi-weekly lunch and learn sessions, interns are afforded the opportunity to meet informally with lawyers and legal professionals to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations that will influence their career decisions.
Type of Work
The type and complexity of work will vary; however, it will include document organization and management, trial preparation and deposition preparation work. All of the projects assigned will require strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Also, the program provides support and assistance to certain administrative departments that are important to the development and advancement of lawyers in a law firm such as WilmerHale e.g. Legal Personnel (recruiting), Marketing and Professional Development.
