Most of the travel that I do for WilmerHale is to New York, California, Texas and Washington, D.C. Lately, several people in my department have been going to exotic places, such as Germany and Finland. Sounds pretty cool, right?

WilmerHale offers numerous pro bono opportunities to its attorneys. I recently became involved in working with the Victim Rights Law Center (VLRC) through our pro bono program. The VLRC is based in Boston and provides legal advice to victims of rape and domestic abuse. VLRC represents victims in restraining order hearings and in the context of rape cases.

The 29th floor of 60 State Street is full of Twilight fans. It seems that everyone on my floor, associates, paralegals, secretaries and partners (both female AND male) love Twilight. If people have not read the books, then they’ve seen the movies.

A few weeks ago, I participated in the Lawyer's Have a Heart 5K in Boston. The event is on a Thursday evening in June at the Bank of America Pavilion in the Seaport District. The event benefits the American Heart Association.

I came to WilmerHale as a third year associate from another Boston law firm. I have been here for about two years and feel that I made the right decision choosing WilmerHale. I love the mix of patent work that I do in the Intellectual Property Group and the great people with whom I work. However, I knew that coming here I would get a great mix of work and I would get the opportunity to work with some of the best lawyers in Boston.
