Well, it's been a long week, but it's almost Friday, and that means it's almost time for CAMS. CAMS stands for Chowder and Marching Society, a tradition at the firm that dates back to FAR before I was even born.

On July 23rd, all of us in Palo Alto moved into our new office space. I personally got to move into my own office! The new space is right across the parking lot, but it feels worlds apart. Our office is so much bigger and so much nicer in every way.

Wow, what a tear the Giants have been on, and what a month of July – 20 wins! Who would have thought that was possible at the beginning of the season? I haven't been this excited about the Giants since 2002,a year that I often wish never happened since it broke my heart.

When I first started at WilmerHale, I was told that associates accrue 20 days of vacation a year. Doing the simple math, that works out to a full month of vacation days per year… took me a while to figure that one out, so I thought I'd save everyone the trouble of doing math…

Last Friday, our office had one of the most popular summer associate events: sailing on the San Francisco bay. Our fearless captain was one of the partners in our office, thus making the trip even better to be a part of.
